Who is the Voyage L perfect for?
The Voyage L is built for families and couples who want serious interior space without putting 175 lbs on the roof. At 135 lbs it's one of the lightest four-person tents available, which makes it a natural fit for mid-size SUVs, crossovers, and anyone who'd rather not wrestle a hardshell onto their rack alone. If you want the largest sleeping area we offer, four-season capability, and a lower price than our hardshell Expedition series, this is the one.
The Largest Sleeping Area We Make
✔ The 90.6" × 70.9" mattress is a full 10 inches longer than the Expedition L's — real room for two adults and two kids, or four adults who don't mind being friendly. ✔ 30 cm longer than the previous Voyage, with the extra space going straight into the sleeping platform rather than the shell. ✔ 1.5" memory foam mattress with anti-condensation mat included.
Light Enough to Change What You Can Mount It On
✔ 135 lbs total — roughly 40 lbs lighter than the Expedition L, which opens up vehicles that can't carry a full hardshell. ✔ 7.9" closed height keeps the profile low, reducing wind noise and drag on the highway. ✔ Honeycomb aluminum shell top and bottom, so the weight savings don't come out of the structure.
